The motor has started to judder somewhat when cold, so using a process of elimination will start with the Spark Plugs, then the HT Leads, and then the coil.

Final prep for MOT

As detailed earlier, car is booked in for it's test on Tuesday.

I have fitted new wiper blades at the front, and transferred the best one from the front to the back.

Also fitted shiny new rear number plate.

New rear shocks will be fitted Tuesday, then it's fingers crossed for the test.

Checked my MOT test cert last night, fully expecting to find I had a month or so left, and it expires on 10th October.

Cant get it booked in for a test until tuesday!

Oh well, it should pass anyway. Will just have to manage.

Still wishing I could afford a new car.

Still plodding along in my Mk3 Astra! 247,000 on the clock!

Was in for repair AGAIN today!
Had a timing belt kit fitted - £160.00 later! That on top of new front brake pads a couple of weeks back - they were £12.99 and I fitted those myself to save a bit of cash, as well as a much needed oil and oil filter change - £20.00.

Required for the MOT - which is looming just round the corner are:
New back box
New rear number plate

Exhaust has far more holes than it should, and the suspension is in need of attention.
